| Impromptu Picture the Music Musical Stories

A series of informal performances by Orchestra of the Swan musicians taking place between noon and 4pm in Compton Verney galleries. Contribute to a life-size music score using paint, pencils, leaves and other found objects. Don't miss the Picture the Music performances at 1pm and 3pm when players from Orchestra of the Swan give this masterpiece its world premiere. Join us in a lively storytelling session aimed at younger children, with rhythms and instruments that the whole family can join in. |

| The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is one of the world’s great chamber orchestras and this concert, directed by their leader Kenneth Sillito, will be a rare treat for Stratford’s music lovers especially as soloist Sarah Williamson will be joining them. There will also be the festivals first premiere, My Penelope, conducted by Festival Director David Curtis, and composed by one of the USA’s leading young composers, Andrew Waggoner. |
